Works fine and seamlessly. I use it to connect a bunch of USB devices to my new Mac Studio, which only has two USB-3 ports, the others all being USB-C / Thunderbolt. I connected this little item to one of the usb-c ports and, voila, I now have seven more USB-3 ports. One of them is an audio interface on which I measure the latency, and it’s very low.
The unit seems solid enough, made of bent sheet metal, and has on/off switches for each port.

The UGREEN USB Hub 3.0 Powered with 7 ports and 4 smart charging ports has been a fantastic addition to my tech setup. Its compact design and aluminum build give it a sleek and modern look, while also ensuring durability.
The hub’s performance is impressive, offering fast data transfer speeds thanks to its USB 3.0 capabilities. The 4 smart charging ports are a major plus, providing efficient charging for multiple devices simultaneously. It’s a great feature for keeping all my gadgets powered up and ready to go.
However, its compact size, while beneficial for portability and saving desk space, can be a bit of a double-edged sword. Depending on your setup, the smaller size might make it a bit cramped when using all the ports. Additionally, the LED lights on the hub are quite dim. This could be a pro for those who prefer a less intrusive light in their workspace, but a con for those who need brighter indicators for connectivity and power status.
In summary, the UGREEN USB Hub is a highly functional, aesthetically pleasing, and reliable device. It’s perfect for anyone looking to expand their USB connectivity with the added benefit of smart charging. While its compact size and dim lights might not suit everyone’s preference, these features do not detract from the overall quality and utility of the hub.

Very good tactile button feel. Only complaint would be that I need a larger one now. Very handy to have all the switches for power/access. Also keeps data bandwidth for USB 3.0 (even with a UGreen 15ft extension USB cable).
Have been very happy to have found this company. They are a bit pricey but the quality is unmatched (so far). Hope this will drive others to improve their products and drive innovation.

It works well, it’s solid it’ll last a long time. Individual switches are soch a useful thing to have on a USB hub.

It’s amazing how many USB devices I have. This just works. I don’t remember how much I paid, so I can’t speak to the price, but it is wonderful to have.

I was super close to buying a cheap Wenter hub but am glad I didn’t, especially after seeing some photos of them melting after some time. Buying a good name-brand hub is worth the extra $10-15 for premium parts its made with and the trust of knowing it won’t catch on fire. This feels quality-made and looks sleek. I love the gunmetal metal body. The LEDs are bright but not intrusive (also, they’re blue). There’s 4 fast-charging ports. This is a fantastic and perfect little hub. It’s so convenient not having to unplug my lights and other stuff and instead can just turn them off with the push of a button. There is no slot on the back to wall-hang it, but I used velcro, and it isn’t going anywhere, even if I have to unplug things.
Something I want to share that I thought was cool, my previous USB was a cheap $20 Best Buy Essentials one that worked fine. I play a lot of RockSmith. This power of this hub made my guitar WAY louder and in general sounds way more incredible through USB like I’ve never heard before. Amazing. You won’t regret paying a little more for this little hub.
Upset it has a dedicated power source AND needs to be connected to the computer? Two cords!? Don’t be. This means your computer has to work less to power it, brings more dedicated power to your devices, and gives you better results/responsiveness using your devices in every way possible. This is exactly what you want, especially for a 7-port hub. I promise it’s worth it. Give yourself peace of mind and get the best bang for your buck.

El aparato se siente de muy buena calidad y funciona perfectamente, USB 3.0 100% real.

If there were half-star options, I’d rate this UGreen powered hub at 4-1/2. It does just about exactly what I wanted it to, despite a couple of very minor design quibbles.
The hub is solidly built – the case feels like you could drive a truck over it. Setup was a breeze, using the supplied Type-A to Type-C cable. The ports all seem to work as expected. I’ve got two portable HDs in the higher-power ports, and these are working perfectly. I also have a set of USB headphones in a data port, which I turn off when using speakers rather than the headphones. The hub’s on/off buttons make it far easier to disable the headphones, compared to my previous method of plugging and unplugging them directly into my PCs front ports.
The buttons that turn ports on and off on the UGreen box are small – I’ll have to see how well they hold up over the long term. But they do work well. However, here’s my first quibble: the little blue LEDs that show a port is enabled are only visible when one looks directly down on the box. With the unit sitting flat on my desk, the lights are invisible. However, on the positive side, the buttons are the type that remain depressed when turned on, so it’s easy to tell which ports are enabled, even by feel alone.
My second quibble is more substantial: no feet! The UGreen box is smooth and featureless aside from its buttons and ports. I quickly added some small rubber stick-on feet (I keep a stock of them handy), but these should have been included. Better yet would have been some kind of mounting option – a flange with screw holes, or keyhole-type screw holes in the bottom of the case, for vertical mounting. As it is, the box can only add to my desk clutter, with no hope of being immobilized against frequent tugging on the USB cables.
Despite my very minor gripes, I’m quite impressed with the UGreen hub. This is my second UGreen purchase – the first has pride of place as one of the nicer USB cables in my considerable collection. Barring any longevity concerns that may develop in future, I’d recommend the UGreen powered hub highly, and put UGreen high on my list of brands when shopping for any other digital desktop accessories.

It’s hard to tell from the pictures I think but this hub is maybe 33% than my previous hub that this replaces. The buttons for each USB feel equally good. The LEDs are a bit small but I am not worried about visibility as other reviews I’ve read here first.
I only wish I knew how many Watts the unit supplied. But it seems to work well for me so far.

Excelente producto, muy prรกctico y de excelente calidad

I shopped around quite a bit for a powered USB hub and found that this one is USB C between the hub and your laptop. This is perfect and I used an existing Thunderbolt 3 cable for the data connection. No issues noted so far and for my needs perfectly.

Using every port on it, some connected to hard drives, SSD, sound card, keyboard, mouse. Connected to a Macbook Pro 16″ M1 Max. The number of ports was perfect for me.
