USA Today does a fine job with it’s logic puzzle collections. I appreciate the updates from Logic 1 (several of the more difficult puzzle types that were not supplied grids in the first addition have gained them this time around), and I am thoroughly enjoying the consistently high quality of the puzzles themselves. I know several other reviews have mentioned the first puzzle is missing a clue, but I have completed a good portion of the rest of the book and have not run into any further mistakes.
Overall, I would highly recommend this book for any logic puzzle fan

some of these puzzles are challenging and fun, but some are missing clues or have other typos. Even the answers sometimes have typos. For example, the answer might be Henry and there is no Henry in the puzzle OR there are items a, b, c, d, and e and two of them have the same answer and one option is left out OR it will say according to clue 5 and the puzzle only has 4 clues. It is obvious that after reading the answer that you need clue 5 to complete the puzzle and the “5” is not a typo for one of the 4 clues.
The problem is know which puzzles are OK to do and which are faulty until you have actually tried them. I would say approximately 10% are faulty.

This book is riddled with editing errors. It was obviously so unimportant to the publisher that they didn’t even read it before putting it out.
For example, the introduction’s first “example problem” asks: “3 children live on the same street. From the 2 clues below, can you discover each Child’s full name and age?” The clues are
1. Miss Brown is 3 yrs older than Mary
2: The child whose surname is White is 9 years old.
Can you tell each child’s full name and age from this information? I couldn’t.
So I read their solution. “Miss Brown [they say] cannot be Brian,” so he can be eliminated, and therefore she’s not Mary, and must be Anne.
WHAT??!!!!! Who’s this guy Brian? Who is Anne? They’re not mentioned in either clue. What’s going on?
Also, the “Solution” says, Since Miss Brown is 3 years older than Mary, she must be 10. But who said Mary was 7? (As far as we know, Mary doesn’t even exist.) So where did 7 come from?
This kind of error is everywhere. For example, Problem 1 in the book gives 4 clues. The problem is insoluble. Why? The Solution tells us how we CAN solve it: use the information in Clue 5. But hold on: they only gave 4 clues. Whoops. And it just keeps on going.
For me, this book was very frustrating – after working at a problem for 30 minutes, you find out that you weren’t even given the right information. Just from laziness and incompetence on the part of the writers and editors.
One assumes some degree of competence and professionalism from the authors, editors, and publisher of a book. That is totally absent from this work.
Equally disappointing is that people actually gave it good reviews. Did they even read it?

Great paper!!! First of all, these books are great fun if you like logic puzzles. I ordered another one by USA Today, “Everyday Logic Puzzles”, but the paper was horrible. To me, this makes a HUGE difference in my ability to enjoy the book. The paper was worse than newspaper and it was almost yellow. This one has great paper that is a joy to write in with a mechanical pencil.
I think there are a few typos/missing clues, but I can forgive that because of the paper quality, although I did take away one star for it.
Love, love this book!

This is a great puzzle book, but the paper is much poorer quality than these books used to have … yes, I know that this newer paper is a better alternative from an environmental standpoint, but it is more difficult for aging eyes because there is less contrast.
