Right out of the box, this blade had a segment (about 4 inches) that did not make contact with the passenger side of the windshield on my Lexus RX350. This is likely a factory defect but shouldn’t happen on a blade at this price point. And of course, the issue is in the middle of the blade to ensure the blade was useless at cleaning the windshield.
I can’t recommend a blade that is not checked for defects before it is sold to the customer – no excuse for that kind of craftsmanship on a premium blade. Not recommended

These are the original, stock OEM windshield wiper blades that came on my truck in Dec. 2006. (2007 Model). Today 1/27/2012 is the first time having to replace them! They still wipe well with no sounds nor chattering. The reason for changing them is the bottom 3″ of the blade tore off. Granted I live in Hollywood, California where there is no snow, except when I travel 4 hrs, which was done for a total of 6 hard snow days. The truck is parked uncovered in the direct sun all day where it has been 115 degrees. During this time, the sun has destroyed 3 sets of wipers on my wife’s car.
Because of how well they lasted, I began my search for the original equipment. I wanted only original equipment. I found them. That’s what these are! They even have the metal pivot pin like the original. Pep Boys (a local major retail car parts store) had the normal RainX etc brand wipers. The parts man directed me to “Hook” type wipers. Hook wipers fit probably 90% of the cars but they do not fit my 2007 GMC Yukon Denali. It uses an “upper clip” type wiper blade (GM part #25877402). No adapters, or arm changes are needed. Both left and right are 22″ blades.
Installation- The inclosed instructions are sufficient but a couple tips:
1. Take your time.
2. When removing, take note of how the old blades slot slips into the Wiper arm at the tip. It’s easy to install incorrectly and although the blade will stay on for a while, they will not work properly.
3. When sliding in the new blade, you’ve got to press fairly firmly until it “clicks”.
The only Con is the price. What happened to $12 for a PAIR of wipers?!? I guess I should be happy I actually got what I paid for!

It rained and, the wipers performed like the stock ones. They were smooth, quiet, efficient with no streaks.

One of the wipers developed a 1 inch tear where a stick was stuck under the wiper for a few days. It causes a 1″ streak. Other wiper still perfect: no streaks, sounds, or chattering. One wiper down…lasted almost 3yrs!
Update 12/1/18 Was working well until one of wipers developed a tear so I replaced both again. Good service for 4 years. Still happy with wipers.

I got a newer Toyota and the wiper blades weren’t great but I looked up the factory manufacturer and it said Valeo was the factory blades . They went on fast and do a wonderful job .

I bought a set of these windshield wipers for my wifes car because every other wiper I had ever purchased for her car (including the full silicon bosch ones which actually cost a few dollars more than these) would chatter across the windshield. I had seen these wipers on HGTV’s “I Want That!” show and decided to give them a try. The specific review information in regards to function, etc… is below:
* Installation: simple and easy (of course this is pretty standard for all new wipers)
* Noise: near zero, these are the quietest wipers I have ever had on a vehicle
* Function in light rain: perfect, even with just a little bit of water on the window these work perfectly, unlike most wipers
* Function in heavy rain: perfect, these wipers remove the water perfectly with no streaks and work flawlessly even in a torrential downpour (I live in Washington state by the way)
* Function with frost: extremely well, these actually remove most of the frost off the window whereas most wipers will just slide over it
* Function in snow: perfect, these wipers remove snow from your window as easily and cleanly as they remove water
* Resilience to different seasons: Absolutely amazing, even in California heat for three months and then back into Washington in the rainy season, they still work just as perfect as when they were first put on the car
Overall, these windshield wipers are the best you can put on your car. They function flawlessly, they look great, they won’t fail you. I have already recommended these to all of my friends and they have switched over to them with the exact same results. If you are going to buy one set of wipers for your car, buy these.
