VASAGLE 2-Section Laundry Hamper With Ladder

▪️This hamper shelf is so cute, and I’m genuinely so grateful that I had the opportunity to order and review it!
▪️It wasn’t hard to assemble, but it was time-consuming and cumbersome since I didn’t have an assembly buddy. The shelf doesn’t have any support in the back to keep it from shifting, sliding, or falling, so I was constantly on my toes, making sure I had it in safe, stable positions while I was assembling it. I’m 5′ 10″, so I don’t usually have any issues with keeping something stable during assembly, but this thing, end-to-end, is taller than I am by… maybe a foot?
▪️You don’t notice when looking at it fully assembled and properly placed because when putting it in place, it is leaned against the wall at a significant angle… and it’s still too tall for me to clearly see the top shelf unless I go up on my tiptoes.

▪️The hampers are so handy, and the shelf is so pretty that I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs the extra space in their bathroom and doesn’t want it to look cheap & flimsy.
▪️I would suggest, firmly, that you have an assembly buddy. I should have waited till I had one, but it was the middle of the night, and insomnia insisted I take on a big chore since I was wide awake anyway would be for hours anyhow.
▪️The next day, when I wouldn’t wake the neighbors, I tried to attach it to the wall and made a mess of the poor wall. The anchors sent with the shelf are cheap, and they are quick to fold over or crumple in on themselves while you try to gently hammer them into place. I know that I drilled large enough holes, so it wasn’t that… and I triple-checked. My dad was a hobby woodworker, and I learned a lot from watching while he explained… and rule number 1 is “measure twice; cut once.” Same with “make sure to use the right sized bit when drilling holes” or “make sure you’re leveling something before and while you’re hanging it” or “never finish-tighten all the screws before you’re positive everything is correctly in place, then alternate sides as you tighten them for good”…
▪️I know I did things like I was supposed to, and the cheap anchors suck for amateurs like me; they may be great if doing this sort of thing is your profession… or if you’re just better at drilling and anchoring than I am… which honestly wouldn’t be difficult. 😅

▪️I ordered a large pack of self-drilling anchors so that I could attach it correctly and permanently.

▪️The shelf is surprisingly stable when leaned against the wall at the correct angle, but until the new achors arrive, screws are the only things keeping it in place.

▪️My granddaughter is quickly approaching crawling, which, if she’s like her mom and my other baby, means climbing too.

▪️There’s no way I won’t be anchoring all furniture taller than 3 feet, or heavy, or wobbly at all. That baby is far too precious to me to do a half-@&$ job of munchkin-proofing my home so she’s more likely than not in as safe an environment I can for make for her (without going overboard with like bubble-wrap or something 🙄) so she can be a wild kid with the zoomies, bouncing off walls and furniture, exploring and learning and growing. I want her to have the same freedom to explore and learn as I had being a baby/toddler/preschooler in the 70s. I won’t pad every hard spot in my home, that’s for sure!, but I’m not going to leave heavy, tall, and/or wiggle-wobbling furniture leaning on or flush against walls without firmly anchoring them.

▪️So along with my recommendations to buy this hamper-shelf and have an assembly buddy, I’d also *highly* recommend buying a big… 50, at minimum of each… pack of anchors and screws. Securing large and/or heavy pieces to the wall only takes a few minutes, and the benefits are immeasurable when you have small, curious children around.
▪️So, have an willing, reliable assembly-buddy and use anchors to protect the lovable little hellions in your spaces while both making your home look more appealing to your taste, and streamlining it: making everything function more efficiently and smoothly.

▪️I’ll get off of my protect-the-kidlets soapbox now, and just recommend this piece of very helpful and attractive bathroom furniture. Wrangle that laundry into submission and enjoy arranging whatever it is that you’ll be placing on the shelves and hooks.

▪️Am I pleased with my order? Very much so! (Just swap the anchors out for better ones so we amateurs don’t bust through the drywall with a hammer.)
▪️Would I recommend this product to other people? Absolutely, yes!

I don’t think I was aware of blanket ladders until I came across this one. And I’m like how useful it is! It takes a bit of time for one person to put together but not a ridiculous amount. The metal bars are strong and the wood boards hold weight well. There are 5 hooks included for hanging up whatever objects I wish and the wood has shown no problem with staying strong. The laundry bags slide in and out and hold more than I initially thought they would. The bags can be taken out and carried if needed or left to hang at the bottom. The shelf above the bags and the one at the very top are sturdy and can a good amount of items, clothing or otherwise.

The design and look of this laundry ladder with hampers is a different approach regarding organization furniture pieces. The faux wood and the metal construction do have a positive decor. The hampers are nice and hold about a bushel and a half per basket which is good. The hooks are good for hanging brushes or towels and can be rearranged in different modular positions. The top and bottom shelves are great for holding most items stable.

The biggest caveat is the assembly process because it took just over an hour since I was putting it together solo. I learned to follow the instructions and double-check to ensure all directions were assembled correctly. The Allen wrench was provided in the package but I used my ratchet which is easier to drive the screws in; especially the wood screws. I recommend a two-team for faster assembly.

The ladder is easy to move around and the hampers are easy to pull in and out. As far as stability it does hold securely on the wall in my laundry room. I did not place secure wall kits; thus far, the ladder stays in place with no rocking or slipping.

In summary, it is a good storage piece for my laundry room, decent price is lightweight yet durable, and easy to move around have made this product a good fit for my storage needs.

Instructions were clear and easy to follow; assembly was a breeze; is a space saver & very convenient with the dry rack/blanket ladder. Very well made & the hamper part is very durable.

First thought was worrying about stability and whether or not it would hold enough weight for all my detergents and what not. Let me tell you it handled it with ease and with the secure wall fasteners it is more than stable enough even if you have kids running around.

Only negative I had was the friction you feel when sliding out the baskets but hey for the decent price and durability of the product I don’t regret it at all. Also it’s very functional in that it has plenty room for clothes and two flat surfaces for storage.

I admittedly bought this with a little bit of trepidation. However, after assembling it, it’s not bad. Actually considering how much it cost a very good buy.
The hampers leave a little bit to be desired. They are just cloth bags. I don’t see them being terribly useful in the long run. Might make some modifications there in the future.
Assembly was straightforward once you realize it is supposed to be built from the back. Didn’t take very long to assemble. Maybe 20 minutes tops. No parts were missing all the holes lined up. I couldn’t really complain.
Like all cheap ready to assemble furniture. There is some slight finishing issues that honestly don’t bother me but some of the wood panels had some scratches on them and you had to be selective. What side had the best side & which way went up which way went down? Fortunately most of the parts are symmetrical so you at least could make those choices. However, one of the parts that does not have that choice is the top shelf and the edge banding had some gaps on the good facing corner so I had to touch that up. Fortunately I had several different gray sharpies and I colored it in and it looks not bad from about 3-4 ft away and is unnoticeable past 5 ft away.

I would recommend.
