Step #1 on the assembly instructions was totally confusing. After an hour of turning, trying to get parts to line up I asked my engineer nephew for help. After 10-15 mins he was able to get step #1 done (but it didn’t look like instruction diagram). After that, the assembly went very well. He had it completely assembled in about 45 mins. If step #1 had been correct it would have been very easy to assemble. Otherwise the cabinet looks cute & appears to be sturdy, works well. All the parts were individually packed & well labeled. Also included all tools that were required.”
Thanks to that helpful review, we did not have any issues with assembly. The file drawer is FULLY LOADED and works perfectly. The whole piece looks so nice, especially with my husband’s latest Lego build (retired R2D2 found on Ebay) keeping an “eye” on things!

Ya inicie la devolución, es malisimo, te dicen que trae toda la herramienta pero obligan a usar atornillador eléctrico, apenas trate con el primer tornillo y se abrió la madera, el instructivo no es claro y armo muebles muy muy seguido y nunca habÃa tenido tanto problema como este, no se le puede poner cero estrellas por que de plano, con razón tenia descuento, aun asà lo voy a devolver

So far the cabinet is perfect for my needs. Looks good and is extremely sturdy. Instructions were simple to follow and approximately 1.5 hrs to assemble.

This cabinet is exactly what I needed for a great price. It has space to keep my laptop out of the way, and gets the clutter off my desk.
Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews bashing the assembly process. If you’ve ever put together any rta furniture before, it’s a breeze. The instructions are NOT wrong, but you have to realize you’re looking at an exploded view. Just use the holes provided, think (gasp) about what it should look like assembled, and you’ll be fine. I did it in about an hour after a couple whiskeys. Tip: insert the cam locks into the boards before joining, then tighten. It’ll be easier unless you’ve got 3 arms.

I did not expect much from this cabinet and thought is was going to be really cheaply made. I was pleasently suprised by how solid this cabinet is. While it is laminate, the wood is strong and the fasteners are decent. I have a very heavy printer sitting on top of this with no problems. The draws open smoothly. I am really happy with this purchase. It is also really nice looking once assembled.

It’s strong, well designed and worth the purchase, many pieces but be prepared, don’t over tighten anything, and follow the instructions aside from step 1 and you’ll have no issues.
Tips, INSTRUCTION DIAGRAM 1 MOUNTS RAILS WRONG, FOLLOW STEP 6 POSITIONS OF RAILS. IF YOU DON’T YOU WILL BUILD THIS WRONG AND DRAWERS WILL NOT WORK.
The handle bolts also aren’t long enough to really tighten down correctly and the threads on the handle are poor. Could upgrade the handles and bolts for the 2.
Overall I’m very satisfied for the quality of the engineered wood and the metal side frames, instructions were miss leading and the handles threads and bolts could be better.
The instructions should be revised but haven’t been. I uploaded pictures of the wrong process vs correct process and overall pictures.

I bought this filer to go with a desk I purchased a few months ago, and though it is made by a different company, it matches perfectly. Huge points for that!
It is also sturdy, the drawers slide well and don’t flop out when fully extended, the top and front are beautifully smooth and the finish is really nice.
This item went together very easily, with the exception of one of the rods that support the file folders. It was nearly impossible to screw in, and never did go all the way – though that doesn’t stop the drawer from fully closing.
After immense struggle to get the thing in place (I think the interior threads were wonky), I discovered that I had used the wrong set of holes to install it. Dang! There are two sets of holes in order to accommodate legal and letter size files – naturally I discovered my letter size folders fell through because I needed to use the other set of holes. That meant having to unscrew the rod. No biggie, right? WRONG! That sucker, once I got it as close to fully installed as I could, did not want to budge. Not even with needle nose pliers. I wound up having to use a rubber jar lid opener to grab the rod and hold tight enough to twist.
The whole thing with the rod is actually explained by a little diagram at the end of the instruction manual AFTER the step that calls for the rod to be installed. Had the diagram from the last page appeared at step 11 I would not have had to go through all the stupidity of removing and reinserting that blasted rod. My fault though – the first thing in the instructions is the advice to read them all the way through before starting. Live and learn.
I would, despite the silly rod debacle, buy this again in a heartbeat. In fact, my housemate is now buying an identical setup for her office.

The replacement process was excellent and I received my replacement part today. The cabinet came together nicely and I am pleased with the customer support I received. The cabinet looks great, but does need a little extra shimming I plan to do for the drawers and locks. Overall, it accomplishes it’s intended purpose and my printer is now on top of the cabinet as it is an excellent printer stand in addition to being a file cabinet and storage unit. Upgraded review to 5 stars due to prompt and excellent customer care.

I ordered this and it arrived early. When I began constructing it, I received two of the “#13” left wooden sides for the large file drawer. I was missing the right side (#14). I sent the vendor an email – seems like it is a straightforward process. Overall quality is good and the instructions are reasonably clear. I was able to get it mostly built in an hour until I ran into the snag with the duplicate part. I hope it goes well with the replacement piece. I will update this review once I hear back and get the replacement piece sent to me.
