My Review:
1) First positive note is the price I paid; $39.99
I believe this is an excellent price for such a sturdy, portable, and multi-functional stand!
2) Our family has used several of the flimsy type music stands, and they are totally worthless!!
The flimsy stands fall over easily, collapse while is use, fail to hold music, and are easily broken!
This unit however, is well built, stable, sturdy, portable, securely holds what every you put on it!
3) Features I Wanted:
a.) a sturdy music holder platform that is capable of acting like a small table, multi-functional
b.) the music platform is solid metal (with holes cut in to reduce weight), made of (2) pieces that
are securely attached together for normal use
c.) it has a 2-inch ledge capable of holding a lot of music sheets or even books, includes spring holders
d.) the entire frame is sturdy and does not wobble around
e.) the entire stand is well designed and fabricated, very sturdy
f.) this music stand closely matches my cello stand, and they look like a matching set
g.) this stand is a little larger and weighs about 6.5 lbs, but I believe it is still the best choice and
will be around for me to use for many years of service, unlike the flimsy units.
4) This specific music stand was selected after a LOT of searching & researching the market,
and I am VERY pleased with this unit and I would recommend it to anyone needing to securely hold
several music sheets, books, or other study materials without losing them all over the floor!
It is also multi-functional, something the flimsy units can NOT do!

It is great that this music stand separates to produce a smaller stand as required. It is robustly constructed and has a feel of quality about it. Love that it can be broken down to fit in the small carrying case – incredibly helpful. There is also plenty of room in the carrying case for other bits and pieces such as a music stand light, a cable or two, et cetera. Would not hesitate to recommend this music stand.

OK, it’s a music stand – how exciting can it be? This portable music stand is amazing – it is as solidly built as those big black stands in music class. For years I’ve had one of those big black stands and it has always been unwieldy to move and difficult to fit into the trunk of my car. This stand solved both of those problems – it breaks down pretty small, and everything fits into the two-handled bag which takes up almost zero space in my car! It is so easy to assemble and disassemble that you can do it in less than half a minute, even if you don’t hurry. Now all my band-mates want one. Get this – you won’t regret it.

The design is terrific and the assembled stand is almost equivalent to my professional-level music stand. But because it is sturdy it is also somewhat heavy and therefore no lighter a load. However, the way it all fits into a carrying bag makes is so much easier to transport to gigs than the standard stand. It easily supports LED lights. Although it is a little more expensive than others offered on line it is a good value.

Best portable stand I have used. I finally sprung for a higher quality more stable stand and it is totally worth it. Assembles easily, solid as a rock, but lightweight enough to put in my gig bag. I can use it to hold my phone with a phone holding clamp. Carrying case is very handy.
