I’ve mounted a lot of tvs and this one is one of the best I’ve used. Mounted solidly with included hardware to a solid wood surface. Easy to hang the tv onto the base and lock it on with the screws. There’s a nice channel up through the tube to hide wires. This is a 43 inch tv in the pics.
My only complaints: the slide lock clip that goes on the top is flimsy and was hard to get tight (the unit is also held in place with the lock screws on the bottom). The tube openings don’t center when the base screw holes are placed square meaning the hole is slightly off to the one side. Nothing here that bothered me enough to decrease the score.
As you can see in the pics this makes for a clean install.

I have a 9 inch wide mantle so it’s nearly impossible to find a tv that has “feet” narrow enough to fit. I didn’t want to mount a TV from the stone.
I read the reviews for this mount and saw many others were in my exact same situation. It was very easy to install and easily supports my new 55 inch LG tv.

I bought this to put our television on. It is very sturdy and directions simple to follow, I had to return it because it was too tall for the television cubby hole. If it’s out in the open, it is a really good product. I hated returning it.

This is the only mount I could find on Amazon that I could mount vertically on a post. I wanted my TV raised at the foot of my bed, so I started an exhaustive search for a mount that could utilize my existing footboard. This was the only option I came across that came close. My footboard is too shallow to mount this product on directly, but with some inexpensive wood and stain, I made a custom stand (not in its final form) to meet my needs. I like how this stand is super straightforward to assemble and comes with some robust fasteners. Bonus points for having hexagonal heads! When one of the three screws stripped it was no issue to continue with the provided wrench to secure it.

We couldn’t wall mount our new television and unfortunately, the stand depths on most televisions didn’t work in our space either so this was our only solution. We were concerned that it wouldn’t be sturdy enough to hold the new (and expensive) televsion but no, it is good and solid even with swivel. Very pleased!

This is exactly what I was looking for, and also a bit hard to find it seems, so right on VIVO for making this product. I was not keen to drill into brick in my rented home (nor was my landlord), and I wanted a method to mount my TV above the fireplace without fear of it ever falling down. This was perfect for me in every way. I put up a wood mantle, mounted this to the wood, and now I have a tv that swivels above my fireplace and still gives the clean look. Sturdy and easy to assemble. Highly recommended.

Used this to mount a 50″ LED TV to an entertainment center. The swivel feature was necessary to allow the center’s curio cabinet doors to open and clear the TV. The mount deflected a little so the 4 bolts that mounted the TV to the mount plate needed to be shimmed with washers to make the TV face vertical. I changed the mount base fasteners from supplied lag screws to 5/16″ diameter through bolts with washers and nylock nuts to be sure the mount would be solid for years to come. Overall decent construction and a good value.

I was really skeptical that this could hold my TV, but it did! And the swivel option is the coolest. My only tiny complaint is the height of the pole. If you’re putting it on a high mantle, the TV sits up really high. For that reason, the pole should be adjustable and/or shorter.
It was pretty easy to install. I read in the reviews that it didn’t come with all of the necessary hardware, but mine came with everything and more plus spare parts. Everything was in labeled packets, so it was super easy to identify the different screw sizes and whatnot.
You will need a power tool with drill bits (not just screwdriver and/or bolt grips) to pre-drill the screw holes into your mantle or furniture.
