Purchased to use with a square register. Works as needed! When the transaction is complete, the drawer opens. You can set the drawer to open automatically or using a key.
I ordered the 13″ size, has plenty of room for cash and change. The check slot tends to be a little snug to slide in easily but I tend to put them under the twenties.

They give you multiple keys, and love the installation with the cord makes it nice and easy to connect to square. I’ve used two and they both work great! Very sturdy and strong.

This is exactly what we needed. We only needed 1’s, 5’s, 10’s, 20’s, and we use the coin tray for “other”. The other one we had was WAY too large. I was worried because it didn’t natively have USB, but we just used the RJ11 (phone/printer) connection, which I would venture to say that each POS has one or the other. Very satisfied!

Es muy práctica, la utilizo asà tal cual como cajón p/dinero; tiene 5 espacios p/monedas y p/billetes son 4 espacios.
El material se siente de buena calidad pero nada extraordinario, he visto cajas registradoras en office depot de precios similares pero se sienten más ligeras, más sencillas.
Estoy satisfecho con la compra, vale lo q cuesta.

I got this to use as fuss-free stand-alone cash register and it works great for that. It’s sturdy, yet lightweight and I leave a key in it most of the time–it opens effortlessly (and without electricity) with a slight turn of the key.
It fits American cash fine and I like that it has an extra coin bin, but not an extra space-taking bill bin. At some point I may have it mounted permanently under a counter as it’s not overly thick.
