I had a different baby monitor before but the camera wasn’t able to view my son’s crib properly from where we intended to put it. This one has a big viewing angle so it’s easy to angle and even move the camera lens from the parent unit. The battery life on the parent unit is about 6 hrs, depending on how long you have the screen on, but that’s ok because I only usually have it unplugged for a few hrs at a time. The screen is large and the picture is clear so you can see if your little one is awake.
Overall I’m very happy with this baby monitor.

I needed a cheap baby monitor that I could leave at my in laws because I always forgot to pack one and had no way to check on my daughter when we would be outside during her nap. It was very easy to set up. I played around in the settings and there’s a temperature sensor that can let you know if the room is too hot or too cold, but for some reason the default setting is to alert you if the room is hotter than 90 or cooler than 40 so I updated that. I also liked that for battery saving you could have it where the screen will turn off if the baby’s room is quiet and then the screen will turn on if there’s noise. I think the range works just fine, my in-law’s home is 5,000 square feet and my daughter was upstairs and I had no problem with the monitor staying connected, but I did have the antenna up. I would definitely recommend, especially for the price! It’s a comparable set to our other $120 monitor, with all the same features but just a smaller screen.

I bought this after my toddler broke my previous monitor (my fault for letting him run around with it). This monitor is cheaper and better. I love that I can direct the camera and it’s super easy to set up. It provides an excellent picture of him, although I admit that if you want to see your child’s facial features, it’s probably not the best. For my purposes, which is just to see if he’s up or sleeping, it works great. It’s got good battery life, and works well throughout the house. It’s also cool that it can play lullabies and that I can talk to him from the monitor, although that kind of freaks him out 🙂 All in all, I would definitely buy again if the need arises.

Wanted to write a review on this product as I was hesitant of buying it following a few bad reviews on the battery. We bought it a few weeks ago before our vacation and find it really useful! Battery is amazing, we used it for 8hours and there is still a few bars on the monitor. Great product!

We have this in my toddlers room and it is very hard to hear us talk through the monitor to his room.. we can hear toddler great, but when talking back to room the volume is not loud enough

My rate is actually 4.5 not 4! We really enjoy this monitor! It’s super easy to use, the picture is clear on the monitor. The camera it self is smooth, and can move on all directions. The menu is super easy to navigate and super easy to set up. The only reason it loses half a point, is because I wish the screen was a least a half an inch bigger! But other than that, it’s a great monitor for this price. 100% recommend.

The picture isn;t crystal clear but for the price it does the trick. I love that you can move the camera angle around from the monitor as my daughter shifts around the bed a lot while she sleeps. Two way communication works great as well. The battery charge lasts for quite a while especially when you turn the screen to dark. Definitely good quality for the price point.

We recently had a baby. Our baby is quite the caboose and 7 years younger than our last child. We had gotten rid of all of our baby things assuming we were done. So I was on the look out for something affordable, user friendly, and something that didn’t run off WiFi. After reading over reviews and waiting for a good deal, I snagged one of these. I have been so happy with my purchase. It works well. The range on it has been wonderful working all the way across my home as I work from home and my office is on the exact opposite of the home. The battery life would be the biggest complaint I had. I would charge it before I went to bed. Usually went to bed around 10 or 10:30 and it would beep that it was dead between 4:30 and 5. My baby now sleeps until 7 so it was annoying to be woken up when baby was still sleeping. I don’t have an open plug near my nightstand due to it being taken up by other things. My newest complaint started a few weeks ago. I noticed the screen would go weird, or the sound would cut out randomly. Then I started getting this screen that would say no signal. I usually could turn it off and back on and that would solve the problem. However this last week the problem got worse and now the baby monitor just turns itself off. This happened through the night and I woke to hear my baby crying, but due to closed doors in our home he had been crying for a while. I was feeling upset things weren’t working like they had been and reached out to the seller and explained my situation and what was going on. They responded within 12 hours with the option of a replacement or my money back. I’ve enjoyed the monitor so much I opted for a replacement. We will see how things go with the new one. But their customer service alone should receive 5 stars! Great company to work with.

This baby monitor set is definitely a must-have for new parents. The peace of mind that it provides amidst the chaos is indispensable. The camera unit is not too large, is sleek and unassuming, was super easy to setup and does come with mounting hardware, if needed. I just put ours on the windowsill that is near baby’s bassinet. The monitor is great; displays in daylight and nighttime video modes that switch as light changes in the room. Also displays the time and room temperature. You can change the camera’s position, zoom, turn the volume on and off, talk to your baby/child via speaker, and adjust other settings. I’ve dropped the monitor many times and it’s held up well, no issues. It does have to be charged often with regular use, but I expected that. Will be buying another camera unit soon as our preschooler transitions to her own room…

I use this to monitor my puppy when he’s in his crate. It allows me to know when he’s crying and needs to be let out! It was very easy to connect – just plug it in! The picture is clear enough to see what my puppy is up to, but by no means anywhere close security camera quality. You can’t make out any details, but I am able to tell if he’s sleeping, moving around, playing with a toy, etc. but cannot see if he has something in his mouth, has his eyes open, etc. My main criticism of this monitor is it doesn’t work well in MEDIUM light. It works good when I turn on all the lights, and it works good at night with the night vision, but in medium light conditions, like during the day when the windows are open but lights are off, it is very hard to see. I wish you could manually turn on night vision mode, but this doesn’t seem to be an option.
It has fine audio, and I really like that has a battery so I can unplug and take it around the house if needed.
