These are far more noisy at driving speeds than the OEM.

After just a few days my windows would not fully close. Took to the dealership and they don’t recommend these as they are Installed in the window channel and sometimes keeps the windows from fully closing. The Subaru brand installs differently,

These were a pain to install and my windows can’t be fully closed. The auto close feature doesn’t work on my windows at all with these on. If I mess with it long enough I can get them really close to fully closed. If I use auto close the hut the top and come right back down. I simply cannot recommend these.

I prefer in-channel deflectors whenever possible. I don’t like using external adhesives as they inevitably wear out over time or damage paint. These are great. WeatherTech is well known for this setup. That being said, the rear window reflectors fit and work perfectly. The internal adhesive keeps them attached in a way that the sensors are not triggered. The front do not have an adhesive, although they do have significantly more physical resistance keeping them in place than the back ones. However, even after keeping the windows closed for over a week after installation to attempt to get the weather seal to adapt to its new shape, I still have issues from time to time with the window sensor triggering as a result of the deflectors. The front passenger is the worst culprit.
In the end, this is still the best set I’ve tested except for the OEM ones. I do recommend this set if you are installing yourself. The process is easy, and they are durable and transparent unlike other brands, which means you also have full view of mirrors and blindspot monitoring alerts.

2024 Subaru outback.
Installation was pretty straightforward. However, it is complete hit and miss on whether or not the windows close properly on the car. Sometimes it works fine, other times the window totally refuses to close. If the window closed without issue these weather guards would be 10/10. However, not being able to close your window unexpectedly… gives these 1/10 for me.
You would have thought they would have tested these first!

Bought a new car in July of last year. Immediately ordered a set of these because of the great luck we had with our previous car. They fit perfectly and we’re a breeze to install. Allows us to keep the windows cracked open a bit in the heat of the summer without fear of rain entering the car or a vandal noticing the window was partially open. They also look really nice.

I have always been a huge fan of WeatherTech floor mats and window deflectors. I have them in all my vehicles. When I bought my new 2024 Subaru Outback, the first thing I did was order the floor mats and window deflectors. The mats went in perfectly as always. The window deflectors fit perfectly too, but then it all went south. Many of the more modern cars, have window sensors so you can’t close them on your body parts. That must be a thing I guess. The new Outback is no exception. When you install the wind deflectors the windows won’t close, which is normal. You’re supposed to calibrate the window to the new deflectors. I had done this successfully on my other cars. I followed the procedure in the instructions, and it seemed to work with one window, but not the other. I kept adjusting the wind deflectors to see if that would help. I even added some lube to help out. The window would automatically reopen and would only close if you raised it little by little. I looked up to see if the calibrating instructions were the right ones for this specific car and year. It was. All the instructions mentioned the exact same process. I left them on for a week to see if they would mold in and adapt better. No luck. Same problem. While removing them, one of the thin corners cracked, so I just dumped in the trash. I strongly suggest you do not get any in-channel wind deflectors on the new 2024 Outback. Their window sensors are too sensitive and make it very inconvenient to use. As much as I hate the ones you stick on the outside, that’s what I ended up having to get.
