Unfortunately Amazon lumps reviews for all the variants of this tool with replaceable jaws together. This review pertains only to the one called Wirefy Crimping Tool For Insulated Electrical Connectors. This variant has jaws made from stacked plates rather than one-piece castings. I found it very effective for crimping red (22-18 ga) and blue (16-14ga) solderless connectors. The stacked plates result in four crimping bands across the connector which appears to be very effective to make a strong crimp.

Soy Ingeniero Metalúrgico y hago el oficio eléctrico por hobby.
Los he usado exclusivamente para crimpar ferrules 8 AWG, hace falta hacer pruebas con Ferrules 10 y 6 AWG.
He realizado trabajos donde he requerido crimpar estas terminales, uso la crimpadora Wirefy de 22 cm (hay otra versión de alta palanca de 23 cm, supongo, como su nombre lo dice, requiere menos esfuerzo), al crimpar la terminal una vez hago la prueba de engarze y noto que el cable se sale del conector, así que hago un segundo crimpado pero del lado contrario al de la primera vez, hago las misma prueba (jalo el conector del cable con unas pinzas) y esta vez el crimpado es fijo, el cable no se sale nunca.
Sí, ya sé que el título puede contradecir lo que lees, pero no es culpa del troquel de crimpado, sino tal vez de la pinza crimpadora (necesita un ajuste de engarce mayor).
Buen acabado del troquel, tiene detalles del maquinado espléndidos, no se han oxidado, y eso que los he usado casi a diario por 5 meses, aún así las lubrico con WD-40 Specialist Corrosion Inhibitor. Cuida tu inversión. (WD-40, patrocínenme xd).
Podrás notar que el video lo grabé con el celular en la mano izquierda y el crimpado con la mano derecha, la facilidad para crimpar es mejor que una pinza de engarce BGS o incluso una Klein Tools.
En fin, recomiendo sin pensar este producto.
