I’ve been using this metronome for a couple of months as a beginning ukulele player. It is so user friendly–just wind, set the speed and you’re ticking away. It has helped me tremendously in my playing and as a technology-phobe, I appreciate the fact that there are no settings to figure out. Just slide the indicator down the arm for faster speed until it’s where you want it to be. It’s very light, transportable, and comes with a plastic cover that snaps onto the front for protection. It goes where my ukulele and I go. Love it.

mine is not accurate
I checked it with both online and my digitial piano metronomes and it seems that it is not accurate.
Delivery threw it from top of the gate into our yard so could be damaged. Will return this and order a new one to see it is would be still in-accurate
EDIT: i returned the first one and ordered another one. this one works great.

Awe. Such a cutie lil thing.
It’s well made. The sound is loud enough to hear well with minimal effort. Instructions are very general but the instrument is fairy intuitive. C;mon if you’re learning music you gotta be smart enough for this. Unless your Mom is forcing you.
I checked quickly the timing with a random online tool. It seems accurate. Another plus.
A specialised music store in town sells and recommends this brand/model for beginners. So I am happy with it.
Recommended.

I had bought a metronome previously and hated the sound of it! I was apprehensive to buy another one, but I did because the price was good and I liked the size was cute and small. I am really pleased with it the sound is so nice and it’s easy to use. I cannot attest to the accuracy of it but it works just fine for my kids piano playing.

Functions beautifully with a nice, pleasing, crisp “tick tock tick tock” with a perfect duration. The sound it makes is not a little click, it is around as loud and lasts about as long as a typewriter key (if you are old enough to know that sound) so the sound it makes is very satisfying.
If you listen closely you can hear a VERY slight difference between the “tick” and the “tock.” I don’t know if that’s deliberate or just a side effect of the construction, but I like it.
The pace is adjustable by sliding the weight up or down the pendulum’s neck. If you are careless like me you might accidentally slide it up right off the bar, but it can go back on with a little work.
I don’t have another metronome to measure it’s accuracy, but you set “beats per minute” by sliding the weight up and down and aligning it with the scale printed on the tool’s face.
The metronome eventually “winds down” after maybe 15 minutes and you have to wind it up again using a little key that comes with the unit and stores right in the unit’s face so you won’t lose it.
The volume, tone, etc are not adjustable.
I like the look of the metronome. It’s slightly more modern looking than the old wooden kind, while still retaining the class and timelessness of a “real” metronome.
The unit has a nice cover that snaps onto the front when the unit is not in use. It looks good and keeps dust off the face and moving parts.
If I could change anything about this metronome I would build in a feature for the cover to snap into place on the back of it or something for when the unit is in use so the unit doesn’t accidentally get separated from the cover. It’s like taking the lens cap off a camera: too easy to “set it down somewhere” and lose it.
All in all I am very pleased with this metronome.

El tamaño es ideal, no es grande ni en exceso pequeño, fácil de usar, se oye perfecto en una habitación mediana. Me gusta la calidad y el acabado tipo piano.

Sounds just as loud as my larger mech metronome. I like everything about it except that it was expensive.
VintageLucero –
I didn’t buy this for musical purposes, but to help calm my anxiety when it starts acting up. The rhythm grounds me immediately! Its quite loud, so It has a great reverb throughout my apartment. It’s lasts for quite a long time. It’s an expensive one, but worth every penny! Best purchase ever!
