The Yamaha Storia is an amazing acoustic guitar. The craftsmanship is excellent and the sound is full and rich. The guitar is very well balanced and easy to play. The action is low and the neck is very comfortable. The guitar stays in tune and the intonation is perfect. This is an excellent guitar for the money.

I own a lot of guitars and wanted a smaller one to see if it would be easier on my shoulder. This is a nice size – not too small but easier to reach over. The sound has less low end than my dreadnaughts but that was expected. It was setup well right out of the box.

This guitar sounds great and looks great. I’m a beginner and had some trouble – I did get some chords down and started to learn but it was tough with the strings so close together. I had a few friends who are very good at playing say it sounds great.. and for the money they were impressed but they think its a guitar for a girl or small hands since the neck is so thin.

Hundred percent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Bought it for my boyfriend for his birthday because he really wanted to learn. It’s a little smaller than a regular full body, but it’s great for carrying around and Friday night campfire jamming. Also got a beautiful sound!!! Love, love, love it!!

I wanted a smaller guitar for my daughter to play. This one has been perfect even if I find myself playing it more than her. I have a few other guitars (Martin, Fender Strat, Les Paul, and another Yamaha AC1M). I love all my guitars, but I have to say this one stays in tune better than all the rest. It’s simply a joy to pickup and play. It also has excellent projection and nice bright tone without sacrificing the low end, and the pickup is a really great bonus. No complaints here.

I really wanted to love this guitar. The tone is bright, almost too bright, and the action is higher than I prefer. The strings are NOT soft, so finger fatigue would be best avoided if the strings were swapped out. The size and aesthetics were great, it just felt/looked cheap. I returned for a solid wood Martin 000jr, which met my playability, sound, and craftsmanship expectations for just $60 more. If you’re looking for a guitar under $500, I highly recommend it. The playability with the Yamaha was much harder than the Martin.

First Yamaha I’ve ever bought. The guitar looks and feels great aside from the scratch (maybe crack) that mine came with. Packaging was good so it was sold damaged. Returned it the next day.

Don’t really know how to rate something like this. For something as big as that scratch to pass as selling condition speaks pretty poorly about a company to me. Amazon, did I get a used guitar? Yamaha, do you inspect your guitars before you package them for sale? The world may never know who’s to blame.

In all seriousness, it’s a really nice guitar and I was sad to see it clearly wasn’t handled with care. Lesson learned. Won’t be buying another instrument from Amazon or Yamaha anytime soon.

Great guitar and beautiful to hang on the wall. Little guitar with a big sound. The action was a bit high, but we will fix that.
