Overall, I like the fact that it can function as a barbell and dumbbells. The packaging was horrendous but it doesn’t matter too much since it’s just weights. Something that I’ve noticed after using it for awhile is the fact that the screws that keep the weights from falling off become loose & it sometimes becomes annoying in the middle of a set.

I am unsure about Isaac’s review stating that the plates are crudely formed. Previous to these, I owned a pair of Rep Fitness’. These are almost identical to those, except for the name imprint. I don’t see them as “crudely formed” as normally formed. The Rep Fitness ones were 200 a pair as opposed to these currently offered at 129.99 ( I got them for 89.99). One exception is that this pair collars are far superior in holding power to the Reps. The Reps used to loosen all the time which was highly annoying and very hazardous. So far this isn’t a concern with these.
Addendum: I should have written the review AFTER I used them. Holy Cow, the knurling on these are aggressive. So much so that it put small holes in my hands after using them without gloves and it did hurt. I am used to wearing gloves when I work out, and it will be mandatory when using these. It doesn’t change my rating, just beware, if your hands are strong but soft, like mine.

but my order come in with broken package, missing one lock and the connector wont go all the way in. Maybe just bad luck I got the defected one. Will try to reorder after return this.

Was looking for a second set of dumbbells that I could expand past the 90 lbs. on my Powerblocks and these work very well. Only thing is the spin locks have a tendency to loosen up with movement. Not to the point where it will fall off, but is a bit annoying. Works with the plates that came with the dumbbells plus others I had purchased.
