My refrigerator/freezer went out and I was desperate to save the $30 of food that I had in there. So I purchased this expensive cooler. (I was going to buy the cooler anyway, but moved up the purchase date when the refrigerator quit.) This cooler is great and kept the ice from melting for several days. I know external temperature greatly affects the length of time ice can be kept in a cooler. I kept the cooler on the screened/glassed in porch which maintained a temperature of about 75 degrees. The ice lasted about a week actually. I love the lavender color, the easy of moving this beast of a cooler, and the fact it can be an impromptu seat. The lid latches shut keep the cold inside where it belongs. The bonus tray included is appreciated but wasn’t useful at the time of purchase. This is a VERY heavy cooler when filled with ice and food, so be prepared. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

I have a 35 and a 45 tundra cooler for my daily use, both work great as long they stay in the truck. I bought the 48 roadie for the time when I have to walk somewhere away from the vehicle. The 48 roadie works great for that occasion. It does get heavy pretty heavy fully loaded. Lifting it in and out the truck can be a chore. The handle and wheels are well built.

Honestly I don’t know what else to say. Yeti is the most high quality cooler that exists. It’s very well made, keeps items cold for a very long time AND gives you bragging right! I love mine. The o my advice I have is that’s it’s very big. If you plan on taking it in the car make sure it will fit in your car before ordering.

I’ve had this for a while and the quality is there. Best cooler I’ve ever owned. The price is high but I’m finding that it’s worth the extra money to have this for a long time. The only thing to be aware of is that it is heavy if picking up to put in the back of my vehicle. The wheels are a plus and durable. The handle seems like it’s not as sturdy but it’s holding up just fine.

Bought a roadie 48 from Dawsons in the UK via Amazon a few weeks ago. The cooler had a manufacturing defect and was covered in several scratches. The box even had a return label from a previous customer! Dawsons should have returned this to Yeti instead of putting it back into stock. When I called them (I spoke with a very abrupt and rude lady) they denied any responsibility stating the responsibility sat with Amazon, as they fulfilled the order.
I got in touch with Yeti customer support who sorted me out with a warranty replacement in the space of 48 hours. Great service by Yeti, and a great cooler… just be mindful who this is sold by.
(Amazon customer support also sorted me out with a gesture of goodwill which was very appreciated.)
