Although a bit intimidating to assemble because instructions were very a bit difficult to understand. Some times pic were not clear , would be nice to have a video. Took like 3 days because I did one step at a time .

For the price, this thing is pretty solid. While some aspects of the construction could be better, there are not any that I found which had the features at this price range.
Fully assembled, it looks nice enough (not fancy at all, just plain and understated, which is exactly what I wanted for my home office setup). Since it’s made of laminated particle board, it’s fairly light for the large size, but feels surprisingly sturdy. It would be nice if the depth from front to back was about 2 inches more, so it would more properly fit my printer on top of the “desktop” space without hanging over the front. But all in all, it works just fine and no real complaints, only minor gripes about things that you’re probably NOT going to find in a combo cabinet in this price range.
If you just need a basic letter / A4 file drawer and a couple of slim desk drawers, this thing will work just fine for you.
My setup:
– top shelf: printer paper, envelopes, notebooks and notepads/etc
– bottom shelf: books (holds about 10-15 average 2-3 finger width textbooks stood vertically)
– top drawer: stapler, hole punch, tape, paperclips, general office supplies
– middle drawer: spare file folders/tabs, misc items that would be best behind lock and key, away from the kids
– bottom drawer: paper files (this is actually a sizable drawer, despite only fitting letter/A4 paper)
Overall, I recommend it to anyone who has similar needs to mine listed above. The only reasons I CAN’T give it 5 stars:
– The locks all have different keys (none are keyed alike). One of the reasons I bought this was because I wanted the option to lock all the drawers, but I really should have just gotten my own locks and modified it on my own, instead of having to keep up with multiple keys.
– The lock bolt just swivels into a grove in the cheap particle board (there isn’t even a metal shim over the groove). Meaning that between the crappy tolerances and the flimsy material, even a child could easily break into one of these things if they wiggled it enough.
– Similar to the above, the overall construction and materials used feel solid enough, but during assembly you can tell just how cheaply made it is. Not so much a negative as a simple “it is what it is” statement (and at this price, it’s not really a fair complaint to make).

I don’t have a whole lot of space, didn’t need a big 4 draw filing cabinet, this is perfect. Without the wheels it fit under my current desk. It was not hard to put together. The three different key is a little annoying but not a huge issue.
The drawers on this product do not open freely it took me over 4 minutes to get one drawer unlocked your thumbs will be sore this is the worst product I’ve ever purchased on Amazon look forward to a video review –
The locked drawers do not open freely you have to wiggle and jiggle them and go from key to key to key even though each key is the same my fingers were sore not fingers but my thumb at some point I just had to give up without getting the drawer open problem is how do you return a fully assembled product not worth buying I will follow this with the video review

Great file cabinet, but plan on some time for assembly. It took me about 2 hours to put it together. Very sturdy, we have an all in one color laser printer on top and a whole ream of paper on the bottom shelf.
