Iโ€™m a nail tech and I use protein bond with all of my clients. Itโ€™s a must for great adhesion and lasting nails. For something I greatly depend on, I was very disappointed when 1/4 of the bottle had leaked out when I received it. The package was in perfect condition but clearly the bottle wasnโ€™t closed properly. Looks like Iโ€™ll have to order more now sooner than expected. It deserves 5stars for the product but not if I canโ€™t purchase the expected amount. Do better inspections.

This product is a game change for a diy nail artist like myself. I would sometimes have issues with my Gel-X or polygel nails lifting after about a week, especially at the cuticles and side walls. Sometimes I would hit a nail or knock it against something and one would come all the way off. *cringe* Since I started using this product, NO lifting at all anywhere. All 10 nails are firmly adhered like cement. I am fairly hard on my nails (open cans of pop, pry things open, hit them) and they stay for 2-3 weeks. Yes, it’s pricey and an impossibly small bottle, but it’s worth it. I gave it 4 stars for easy to use because it’s a tiny bottle and I’m afraid to spill it. And it requires 2 coats so that slows the process down a bit. If you’re a diy nail girlie, buy this! It will change your life!

As a person who frequently does their nails, I’ve tried out the Young Nails Protein Bond Non-Acid Adhesion. I’ve put it to the test, and here’s my sincere and realistic assessment.

    Pros:

Adhesion: It lives up to its name, providing excellent bonding for gel, polish, and acrylic.
Non-Corrosive: Being non-acid, it’s gentle on the nails and doesn’t cause any corrosion.
Quick Drying: It dries quite quickly, which is a huge plus when doing a manicure.

    Cons:

Size: The bottle is quite small, at only 0.25 fl oz. A larger size option would be appreciated.
Price: Due to its quality, it is a bit pricier than other nail primers on the market.
Availability: It can be a bit hard to find in some stores, so you may need to purchase online.

    My conclusion:

Despite the small size and slightly higher price, Young Nails Protein Bond Non-Acid Adhesion offers top-notch performance. It’s a great investment for anyone serious about their nail care.

So guys, I’ve thoroughly explored this product, and I hope my review will be useful for those who have questions. See you soon!

The Young Nails Protein Bond is a top-notch non-acidic nail primer, ideal for enhancing adhesion when applying gel polish. This primer is particularly useful if you do your own nails, as it creates a strong, long-lasting bond between your natural nails and the gel polish. Its non-acidic formula minimizes damage and sensitivity, making it a great choice for maintaining healthy nails while ensuring your gel polish stays put. If you’re looking to achieve salon-quality results at home, this primer is an excellent addition to your nail care routine.

First things first. Global warming is real and Amazon is not helping to alleviate it by shipping a 2cm bottle inside of a big box filled with tons of paper. This could have been packaged in an envelope. Aside from that, the size of the bottle vs the cost is a joke. I thought this was made for a toddlerโ€™s finger. However, the product itself is great and helps with retention on my gel and acrylic sets

I make press on nails and this not only helps me remove the shine from press on nails before painting them but it also helps my press on nails last alot longer. It is a very tiny container and it is a bit expensive but it is well worth it.

Not really sure why I use this, but realized after I started to use, my nails tend to stay on for as long as I want them to. No lifting, & they look professionally done.
