This keyboard turned out way better than i expected, The keys on this keyboard are clicky and very addictive, I have the urge to type on it once in a while. The keys are spaced out so it doesn’t take much getting use to. I’m currently using the keyboard to make this review. The battery on this keyboard is amazing like 4 month.The keyboard and the case is super thin while still offering great protection. There is a set of keys at the top of the keyboard usually where the f1,f2,f3,etc keys would be and is replaced with things like the home button, volume up,etc.The lighting can go super bright. It has a magnet at the end so it works like a smart case when you close it. The leather on the outside is nice. My only dislike to this product is that since I bought the white version the leather on the outside is slowly turning grey and its hard to clean. I would recommend this product to anyone that owns a iPad Air. You get a huge bang for your buck

I have purchased 4 Zagg folios now. The first 3 all broke in the hinge. The first one I attributed to myself as I dropped it and thought that may have cause it to break. The 2nd one, some thing. The third one was fine, I closed it, and when I opened it the hinge caught and it wouldn’t open, and when I forced it, it broke completely. I’m now on #4. You get what you pay for. The next time I will purchase another, more expensive keypad. I’m done with Zagg.

I have been using the keyboard for over a month now and am satisfied with it as both a cover for my iPad Air and also as a keyboard. I have had just a few issues with it. One is that the keyboard is either ultra sensitive or I am doing something wrong, but often the keys repeat. I think that I only hit it once while typing, but apparently I may not. I don’t type differently on this than other devices, and the problem has only happened on this keyboard. I am willing to take the blame somewhat, but it is still annoying and not always the same keys. The second issue that I have is that it loses the bluetooth connection if not used for awhile. I have to keep going to settings and rediscovering the keyboard which is annoying, but not horrible. Overall, I like the feel of the keys. I am a fast typist and this seems to hold up well. I like the backlit feature although I have yet to actually need it. I think I just like the colors 🙂 I ordered the white cover and I should have ordered black. The white cover gets dirty easily and I am cleaning it too often. Get a black one. Other than the problems above, I like the keyboard overall and would recommend it.

Its only the first day using my new folio but i wanted to make sure i wrote a quick review to say that i am completely satisified with my purchase. First, it took 40 seconds to pare with my ipad air and I am in LOVE with the keyboard. That was my biggest concern and it took me a week to pick this folio out because i wanted a a good keyboard that was easy and comfortable to type on. The colors of the keyboard are so nice ! Currently I am using red but earlier i was using blue. I read reviews about the hinges snapping and i pushed mine back right away to see if it felt flimpsy but its well made. Again its only day one. Also the holes are all cut out where the speakers are so they are NOT covered up like some reviewers stated and how they are shown on some you-tube vidoes. I guess they made a change to the folio because there ae complete cut outs for your speakers.

This case was great..at first. It holds my iPad air and it fits like a glove. The light up key feature is fun and convenient when I’m working in low lit areas. After a couple of months it had complications keeping its bluetooth connection while on campus at the University I’m attending. If I took it to class with me, instead of my laptop, it was a toss up if the keyboard was going to be useful or not. Just today, unfortunately, I opened the case and the right corner of the keyboard has popped open at the hinge, exposing the metal pieces underneath the plastic case. It’s right at the corner where the charging cord fits into it. For a $60.00 case and keyboard I was expected more than 3 months of use. I’m also past the return window so I’m rather upset that I’ll be eating 60 bucks and left with a non-functioning, broken case.

I originally had a Zagg case for my iPad Air and LOVED it-sturdy, worked well, held a charge very long. Unfortunately they discontinued it. I bought this based on that experience. BIG MISTAKE? Keyboard is not responsive, first several letters typed have to be retyped….every time. Doesn’t hold a charge. Just a very inferior product. Lost faith in ZAGG!

I’m a touch typist, have been for years, and I hate the iPad keyboard. While my favorite keyboard is the short Apple wired keyboard, the one they stopped making—the Apple wireless keyboards are fine too—this Zagg keyboard is a close second. Now I’ll be able to get some real use out of my iPad.
I had purchased an earlier version of the Zagg keyboard and case, and while the keyboard worked well, the version of the bluetooth didn’t: every time I closed the cover, I’d lose the connection. With this newest version, the Bluetooth stays connected even after I close the cover and let it sit for a couple of hours. And I love the backlit keys because I can write notes while watching TV at night without turning on the lamp. While I haven’t had it long enough to try it on an airplane, I’m looking forward to it. Or using the iPad in the shade in the park.
In short, this is a wonderful product—I cannot think of anything negative to say. And while the case adds weight and thickness to the iPad Air’s dimensions, it’s a small price to pay.
