I will preface with the fact that I had the Sena 10CPro before ordering this model. I decided to sell it and get a GoPro Black 6 instead and then put a Sena 20s on my helmet. After having to fiddle with two separate items at a time, and attaching mounts here and there on my bike…in the end go rid of all of it I ordered the 10C Evo. The Go Pro was great…but I wasn’t needing action video per say and felt like I was spending a lot of time with it. All in all…just get the unit and save yourself a lot of switching around lol.
So here it is…
Pros –
– User friendly for sure!
– If you are wanting pictures and video for yourself and friends this unit does more than enough to meet those needs. The video quality is great and picture quality also
– Convenience of having everything I needed in one unit
– Lots of mount option for different helmets
– Easy to use i.e. bluetooth connections, intercom, app
– Low profile
– Essentially getting com and camera system for the cost of one
– Accepts larger sd card
– All day music and communication
Cons:
– Battery life when recording. Not a huge problem, as I keep a slim battery pack in my pocket to charge the unit while riding.

This is my 2nd Sent 10C. It seems to be a bit heavier than my old one, however the ability to adjust the headset for the camera shot is very good! I like that it auto shuts off if not in use, so it doesn’t drain the intercom battery. The sound quality is not as good ( a little more tinny) that the straight Sena 20, but you get used to it. Overall glad to have this newer camera system.

Like it. Previously owned Sena 20 evo, now discovered this product and I like having 2 in 1 possibility.
Sound quality is good, mounts are handy, video quality also nice and clear.
The only one thing I like Sena 20 evo more than 10C evo is that each time you disconnect the module you need to disconnect the wires. On Sena 20 evo it was done with pin’s in mount and charging was easier thanks to it.

The concept of this unit is great, and it’s the second 10C I have owned-my first being the original model. But there are still some hiccups in the EVO and calling Sena for help has returned conflicting answers. Still having issues getting “video tagging” to work. It will not work off the unit, but will work from my remote. Weird. The keep telling me how it is supposed to work, and I keep telling them it won’t work that way, or any other way directly from the unit. Still working on that.

I bought this wanting to get an entry level camera to go onto my helmet that would not be huge and bulky like a GoPro. I found this item. It has allowed me to keep the features I am used to (Listening to music & Group Chat) and allow me to now record all my rides. Batter life I have found is about 2 hours (@ 1080p video). I am a little disappointed in that as I normally do rides that are 2 hours one way. However, I will manage as this didn’t break the bank. Video quality is good. Noise cancellation is amazing. My fiancée and I both have loud cruisers and this keep it all to a minimal sound. Allowing us to have conversations and have those conversations recorded. I would recommend for sure.

Good camera and good noise canceling with the mic. Just keep in mind the battery only last 1.5 hour of recording. And the sound missing some bass . Other wise it’s a awesome product

I ordered the product a couple weeks ago, and initially wrote a scathing review, as the original product was completely defective. The camera was either shattered or internally damaged, so I had to send it back in for a replacement.
However, I’ve been using the replaced version of the product and I’m extremely impressed. The integration of both audio, video, music, etc, is awesome, and the various mounts that are provided by Sena make it relatively easy to fit to any helmet. Wiring the speakers to each ear well can be a pain (my helmet made it an extensive process), but the quality of the audio and the main unit’s ease of use it great. The battery isn’t wonderful, and the Sena camera app is pretty finicky but overall, this is a great solution for a motorcycle cam. Would definitely recommend.

The Good:
An all-in-one bluetooth and camera device is a great idea. It’s something I wish a lot more companies would attempt. The package includes everything you need to get it installed, but you’re more than likely going to need a YouTube tutorial or some personal creativity to set it up on a helmet.
The Bad:
The battery life on the camera is really poor, and you can’t carry extra batteries to swap them out like you can with a GoPro or a Garmin (which have relatively excellent battery life). The instructions provided were sufficient to satisfy the bare minimum, and anyone attempting to use a device like this should already be somewhat familiar with how devices like this work.
The Ugly:
Sheeeeeeeesh there’s a lot of ugly here. The absolutely greatest frustration was that you need to install software on both your computer AND your phone to even get this thing setup. It nags the **** out of you to update firmware, but makes firmware updates a colossal pain. It took me 4 hours and a ton of forum surfing to find a workaround, which finally allowed me to then try and connect it to my phone via wifi, which is a REQUIREMENT if you want to change ANY of your video/sound recording settings. Why can’t you just do it with the computer connection you struggled for 4 hours to setup? Stop asking reasonable questions and download the app! But not just one app, but TWO apps to get it to work! I finally gave up when the WiFi refused to connect, as neither my phone, computer, tablet or laptop could even see it.. I set it up for a return.
The apps are an absolute joke. They crash constantly. I actually got so used to the crashing being simply a part of the process that after a time I simply accepted it and it strangely ceased to bother me… But the apps are (rightly) downrated to 1-2 stars on the app store for a reason. Sena outsourced the programming to the lowest bidder, and it shows.
Tech support was less than useless, which is the industry norm these days. Don’t count on them for anything. Forums will be your best solution for any problem, and if forums can’t help you, tech support sure as heck won’t (who, let’s be honest, are probably just using forums themselves.)
And lastly the price: This device is WAY overpriced for what you get. It should be a crime to charge this much. I have a Sena SMH-5 that has served me very well for many years and was well worth the $100 I paid for it, and this spells disaster for Sena if they don’t stop cutting corners on the software and battery tech.

I really love it, it has good video and audio quality, I have seen many videos and comments not very favorable in terms of quality but for me it is an excellent product. I’m used to using AirPods so the sound quality for me is not very good, especially when you go at high speed but it’s because the helmet is not totally airtight. I totally recommend it.
