These are great for leftovers and lunch size meals, they heat up well and hold temperature. Note- don’t place the lid in a microwave, it tends to warp the lid. Place a paper towel over the glass to heat in microwave

For a long time our household stored items in the kitchen fridge in containers that really had no covers. This meant that we couldn’t make efficient use of refrigerated space by STACKING items on top of each other. A dish covered only with foil or plastic wrap or wax paper had to be handled with great care to make sure something heavy didn’t get put on top of it – or to be sure it didn’t SPILL and leave a horrendous MESS. Having glass containers with STURDY LIDS means items can be shuffled about without risk of spills and can be STACKED without squashing foods we would rather not see getting SQUASHED!! A good selection of shapes and sizes of such containers has revolutionized our fridge storage. This 11 cup rectangular container will hold a huge amount of casserole or soup or a crock pot dinner and fits much better with other containers than a bowl shaped container. Even works well for tossed salads.

My wife and I have ordered World Kitchen Pyrex Food Storage containers in many different sizes and shapes. Each has a different purpose depending on what food and portion size we want to store. The quality of these containers is consistently good and we highly recommend them. We feel the Pyrex glass containers are a good healthy option for storing and reheating food of all types. They are convenient too and each size will stack with others of the same size our cabinets. We also like being able to see what food is stored inside as they sit in our refrigerator.
There are some reviews that report the lids are not tight fitting. I’m not sure what type of seal should be expected but lids on all our various sizes fit fine and are perfectly acceptable for storing food and taking it in and out of the refrigerator and freezer. These lids might leak if the container is full of liquid and you throw them into a lunch bag and bounce them around. Other than that, the fit seems good to us.
We own Pyrex containers in 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 &11 cup sizes with some rectangular and some round shapes. We recommend them all in terms of quality and functionality. It’s up to your own personal preference as to the sizes and shapes that work best for you.

Duh. Live and learn. An avid user of plastic Glad and Hefty tubs for decades, I got worried about the chemical leakage. Bought a set of these Pyrex 3-Cup for my son last Christmas and he loves ’em! So I bought this set for us. The containers are heavier than I’m used to, but wow, they work well. Perfect size for frozen lunches. Actually, each holds a little too much food for just me, but for hubby they’re great. Cleans nice n easy too. Aces!

I wanted 3-cup bowls for storing some dessert recipes that I make, but I guess they don’t make that size because they’re not even available on the Pyrex site. 2-cup bowls are too small and 4-cup bowls are too big.
These are a bit too shallow, but they do work. The lids are not tight enough, so these are NOT leak-proof.

I like to create casserole meals and these containers then hold three or four portions for me to use during the week. The glass is hefty and I take it from the fridge to the microwave. The lids seal securely, and are easy to clean in the dishwasher along with the glass containers. It’s nice to use glass instead of plastic which can leach chemicals into my food.
