This tape is VERY sticky, so depending on your needs, it may not be what you want. It’s also thin, so it’s a little difficult to remove. But if that’s what you’re looking for, this is it!

Useful product, but really poor instructions. What you need to know is that the sticky tape is clear. The beige colored stuff is the liner/protective surface, and it is not only perforated in roughly two-inch segments, but divided along the length to make it easier to separate the sticky stuff from the liner. Work from the middle to peel the stuff off, and fold the tape a bit in the middle. No matter how long the hem or other section of cloth is that one wishes to adhere to another section, it is best to use one or two sections at a time, especially when first learning how to effectively apply the tape. It is also better to use this tape when one is uncertain of exactly where one wishes to make changes. The tape isn’t permanent, not intended to be permanent, and will probably turn into a sticky mess in the dryer, so once one has determined the best changes, please switch to a more permanent alternative. If one prefers not to get into sewing, or the use of a hot iron, something like “Badge Magic” works well. Just make sure you use the version intended for “hemming” not the one intended for applying things like scout badges. The former comes in strips, and the other comes in squares, and while both can be used for hemming in theory, it is a lot easier to go with the product made for the specific project one intends to create or modify. BTW, sorry if the review explains what seems to be more or less obvious to many, but some of us are eyesight-impaired or have other issues that lead to wastage while experimenting with new materials. In other words, this reviewer, who no longer sees well enough to sew by hand, is writing based on actual experience with the products mentioned.

Vertically challenged best friend.

Holds fabric in place. I’ve used it between fabrics while layering and it held well, as well as sticking it to my skin and fabric. Both worked great. Of my kids pull on my clothes then sometimes it doesn’t hold, but that’s to be expected. Easy to remove too.

I needed something to pin up curtains that I purchased too long. I don’t have the patience to find someone to hem them. And I don’t really want to do anything permanent to them. It worked perfectly.

Works well

I cut them in half and using double sided tape stuck them inside my hats. Works a treat to stop sweat running into my eyes when outside working

Use this to temporarily have some curtains. Not the best adhesiveness, but it did the trick. It might work better on something not so heavy.

The adhesive is great, but don’t leave it on clothes for too long (9+ hours) or forget to remove them before washing because then they’re hard to remove. I don’t like that the removable papers are split down halfway because when I remove them it creates a lot of unnecessary waste. The removable papers being split also make it harder for me to apply honestly. Overall these are great and do what they’re supposed to!

I used this tape to make a wonderful Piniata costume for a family party. It was excellent choice.

C’est un ruban a double adhรฉsif facile a utiliser. Il est fait pour des tissus lรฉgers et รฉvite d’avoir a recoudre ceux-ci. Bon compromis pour moi! :-).

Now I initially bought this for a mini craft project but I used a majority of it for my summer outfits.
So I live in a desert where we’re hitting +100 F degree weather. So I don’t know about my ladies out there but I hate wearing bras during the summer. Especially with outfits that look better without bra straps. Yes I know strapless bras exist but still.
With this fabric tape, I’m able to use those loose bra pads you’d find loose in a sports bra or swimsuits. I just get one section of tape and put it on top of the bra pad that would connect with my fabric.
It’s adhesion is very strong to the fabric but it can still be pulled off without damaging either the fabric or the pad.
Then for my strap less tops/dresses I use this tape to also stick the top to my skin (I know it’s probably not recommended, but my skin had no negative reaction to the tape). Then the top never falls down the whole day. So instead of doing that awkward shimmy to lift your top back up every few hours, I was able to forget about it all day. And you bet I had moments where I was sweating a good amount but it never once slipped.
Not to mention if I had a dress that I’ve worn a bit that it’s a little loose in some places I just pull the fabric down and use a piece of tape to keep it in place.
It’s precut and one side has a plastic cover. Which makes it easy to handle after you get used to it.
I’ve had it for…1-2 months now and I’m just about to run out. So I’m going to reorder!

Used this tape on a denim vest I used for a photoshoot. The vest buttons opened a little and the tape held for about an hour. It was durable but not long lasting. Wish it was stronger. Tried it on a denim skirt but did not work. Might be better on other fabrics.
